What type of Piano should I buy?
Hi, I just recently got interested in playing piano and know very little about the basics. Normally I would play at my friends house (more like try to learn) since he was a real wooden piano but i want to get my own.
Should a beginner like me get a electric keyboard? And do you have any recommendations for which are the best under or around $300?
Also my High School does offer piano classes but my schedule is booked tell next year (senior). Should I wait?
with $300, all you can get is an electric keyboard.
My parents bought a piano when I was three so I could start practicing, never did I own an electric keyboard. If you want to get a real piano, be prepared to spend at least $3000 for a cheap one.
as for brands:
Yamaha, Korg, Roland all make excellent pianos (korg and Roland being the professional standard, and their cheapest is around $600 or so)
