Music Scales

Do i have to play the scales in my music exam AT the sepcified tempo or can i slow them down?
Ok its not as drastic as it sounds but in my 8th grade clarient exam i have to play my scales at 108 for 4 notes. That goes for scales, arpegs, broken chords, etc. everything is fine except the broken chords. Can i slow the tempo by a fraction or do i have to play it at the specified tempo?
I don’t think you should go lower than 104 but they definitely wouldn’t penalise you for slowing it down by that much. But if you can play them at the specified tempo, then just be confident and go for it!
Good luck with your exam and hope you do really well!
